Kings View Cafe

I was on the big island visiting a friend for Thanksgiving and we decided to take a little circle island adventure, and ended up heading out this way toward one of my favorite areas. Discovered this little gem along the way. OMG! I have dined in and fine restaurants all over the world. Many right here in Hawaii with some of the top chefs. However, you could surpass the wonderful meal that was served at this sweet little café. The mahi-mahi was exceptionally fresh and grilled perfection. The portion was over the top! Way too much to eat in one sitting. Perfect fresh green salad and sticky rice. Who could ask for more! To top it off the price was beyond reasonable. I really can’t say enough about this sweet little spot, including the ladies that ran it. Aloha from start to finish. Just wish

Ordered shave ice. Limited rainbow flavors. Bit pricy for full topping option or may be average with market prices here but to put in perspective Matsumoto offers cheaper shave ice. They have good variety of pizza with options including pesto pizza.

Kings View Cafe was a wonderful place for lunch today. We split the plate with mahi mahi. The fish was tender, the fries were super crispy and the dipping sauce was delicious. Ice cream for dessert was the perfect finish!

Perfect Hawaiian vibe. Popular with tourists and locals. Delicious, very fresh pizza, sandwiches, and teriyaki chicken plate. Plenty of seating indoors, with a little seating outside. One single use bathroom, kept nice and clean.

Perfect food after a trip to the beach. The orange mango pineapple ice cream is going to show up in my dreams and the bbq chicken sandwich was filling and delicious.
