We were super excited to try this spot bc it’s Halal and soul food, the owners are super kind and welcoming. We tried the 8 piece, the bbq sandwich, the collard green, mash and gravy, as well as the Mac and cheese…. EVERYTHING WAS A HIT. I mean the greens just melt in your mouth, and the brisket sandwich was savory and a little sweet, we were recommend to add coleslaw on it and it just added to the layers of flavor. The chicken was crunchy and flavorful, some pieces had a little extra spice which was really nice honestly. They had fresh juices, I had tropical punch and my friend had passion fruit, they were both delicious. We were also given a sample of the peach cobbler and the sweet potato casserole and ohhhhh my gosh!!! I’m in love w the sweet potato casserole. Everything was affordable

This place is a hidden gem for Trini fried chicken. The service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the chicken with spicy wedges. The chicken was incredibly tasty, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and packed with great flavor. The spicy wedges were delicious as well, though I wouldn’t mind a little more heat to really bring up the spice level. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu and get more of that delicious fried chicken.

My first time trying this spot, I walked in and it smelled so good!!! received a super warm greeting, I ordered a 10 PC family dinner(for my hairstylist), and a 3 piece combo and peach cobbler. When I walked out I got in my car and started eating the chicken and I couldn't stop! The chicken was so flavorful and tender I had eaten 2 pieces before I knew, I had to go in and order my daughter a separate 2 piece I wasn't sharing my third piece lol. The customer service wonderful they treat you so kind as if you are a regular I forgot their names but I think Melissa and Kahlil were 2 I remember I will definitely be back to try the catfish:) I tasted the cooler too it was delicious and homemade!!! thank you so much for great food and service!!

Hands down the best fried chicken and biscuits you'll find in Broward. I drove from WPB and it did not disappoint. I tried the drum, thighs, wings and tenders... all cooked to perfection with each bite full of flavor and moist till the last bite. The waffles were light, fluffy and had a little sweetness which matched perfectly with the tenders. And you can't go wrong with the Chicken Philly. Definitely taste the spices of Trinidad and the love that was put into making these dishes... down to the potato wedges!

Seasoned to the bone indeed and packed full of flavors in and out. Really recommend Kings Original in Lauderhill. My wife and I briefly saw the owner when we walked in on Sat, Jan. 17. He promoted the deal of $1 per wing for today, Jan. 18, 2026 and for Super Bowl Sunday. Ordered 10x crispy, 10x honey hot and 10x island BBQ. All types of wings were wholesome and tasty to eat. We will be back again in the near future. Plenty of parking outside.
