Kings Cafe

Food was great, they were out of a few menu items but find a good replacement as we did order the Daily Special. Alot of food for the price so great bargain. Wasn't packed but kept a steady stream of customers while we ate. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. It's exactly what one would expect from a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. Food was spicy but I expected that. Will stop when we pass thru again.

I ordered a truckers breakfast! I purchased my meal. The waitress was very nice but the food I am very disappointed. I opened my to go plate and saw a dead roach on top of my pancakes. Kings was once a nice place to eat.

Ok, so this place appears to be much more in the pictures than in real life. It is a glorified gas station. That being said, the food wasn't horrible, LOL. It's definitely creole style with lots of spice. When we went in, we were the only people there. They apparently had some kitchen issues earlier in the day because they were missing multiple items on their menu (it was about 8pm when we were there). The staff was apologetic and friendly. Not terrible, but we didn't go there on the way back.

the crawfish etoufee and jambalaya are very nice with suitable price, however I dont like the gumbo much, but it’s still OK you should try if having chance

Excellent Lil truck stop resturant. I was here for a 34 and enjoyed a couple meals ..the great grape burger with onion rings is excellent as well as the chicken sausage gumbo. ..definitely will be back if I'm in the area
