Kings Beach Public Library

This library is the backbone of our community. They cater to kids and families in a way that feels so nurturing. When my son was little we attended the sit and read programs and got so much out of them. Each day they have a new craft for kids. Any book not in inventory can be swiftly obtained and the librarians can recommend quality books on early reading to nautical fiction. We love our KB library!

This is the cutest, quaintest library I have the pleasure of coming to. The ladies working here are very helpful, friendly, and willing to answer all my questions. I often come here to print things out and the computers are modern with fast internet and large screens. Their selection of books, informational/tour guide selection, and maps is extensive. The best part about the Placer County libraries is that if they do not have your book at their library, you can request one from another library! I had the helpful librarian order me a couple of books on Hawaii & they were in the next day! I was very impressed by the urgency.

Don't be deceived by it's size....this is a wonderful community library that packs a lot in to a little space with limited hours! The Head Librarian, Anne, is a phenomenal resource with a wealth of information. She has packed the schedule with FREE computer classes, stories hours, guest authors and fun family friendly events throughout the summer! Come on in and check it out!

Small library but they are so kind and helpful. My son loves being here getting books and doing crafts. We will be back.

Love this library, my only complaint would be that they do not carry all the books I would hope they would, but honestly they can order any book you like so that makes up for it.
