Kingdom Grounds Coffee Shoppe

This amazing little coffee shop is a true gem.. every time I’m in town I stop here for lunch.. the food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing & most of all the people are amazing! Definitely worth the visit.. I wish we had one in my home town! P.S. make sure you try the panini’s lol

What a neat coffee shop to find on a work trip. The team needed coffee and a quick Google search of the area brings up Southern Grounds. It was such a cool space with decent lattes.

I recently visited Southern Grounds restaurant and coffee shop in Thomasville, Alabama. I had known about it for some time as my wife and son had been encouraging me to go. I was initially hesitant because I use an oversized electric wheelchair and thought the space might be too small for it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could easily maneuver my wheelchair inside. The front area is a bit limited in space, but there are several rooms where you can enjoy fellowship, coffee, and meals. During my visit, I tried their delicious Panini called the "gobbler," which was absolutely amazing. I have been back three times in the past week just for that! I also treated myself to one of their specialty coffees called "Romeo," which was a delightful blend of white chocolate and othe

Great food, peaceful ambience, and even better drinks! This little gem has it all. We personally love the grilled cheese and tomato soup on Tuesday’s but you can never go wrong with one of their specialty paninis. We won’t even go into the drinks because there are simply too many to mention. Hats off to the friendly staff as well for always being calm, cool, and collected.

An absolute gem!!!! I can't rave enough on how cute this place is! Service is so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Marilyn Monroe iced espresso beverage and The Yellowhammer (pimento cheese) sandwich. The pimento cheese was the best I've ever had! My order came out quickly. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. Atmosphere was so peaceful and quaint. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.
