King Kong Restaurant

Food was cold ! It took over a hour to get to our spot! Asked for salt and pepper on the fries there was NONE! Asked for hots didn’t get ANY .

My review is based solely on the food....and the fact that they deliver. Their food is good and reasonably priced. The climate of the bar is not one I am comfortable with. In order to pick up carry out you must go through the bar. For this reason I will not do that again. But having their food delivered to my house allows me to bypass the bar scene and I have good food in a reasonable time period.

9.5 out of 10 easy ! This is the second best place to go out of all of Hyattsville and langley park! Only second to the Asian carry out ( note the reason it's second is because the food ) plz note when it's comes two being a bar and selling alcohol this is easy number one in all of Langley park ! As a eat in its a 8 because is so odd to eat in there it's feels out of place but still cool. This is the number spot in the hood to get drinks ( on the go and not ) so don't be surprised to have one to ask you for 1$ still 10 out of 10 for everything only second to the Asian carry out when it comes to Asian food

If I could give negative stars I would. This establishment is an absolute disgrace. My husband and I decided to try it out for dinner and it was a horrid experience. My chicken tasted like hot dog water. Do not recommend. Truly disgusted.

King Kong is a combination pool hall / bar and a restaurant. The restaurant section on the right is nice and quiet, and the food tastes good. The left, where the pool hall is, is large (with 4 or 5 pool tables I might add), and many of the clients they cater to are Spanish-speaking. I would recommend the carryout food and the liquor - they have some of the lowest prices on the more pricey liquors in town (example: recently $15 for Ciroc small bottle). They have just about every brand of liquor you can find in comparable stores, except your budget won't be as tight.
