King Fish & Oyster Bar

For anyone looking for Seafood in or around Hickory, Kingfish & Oyster Bar on Fairgrove Church Rd is the Best seafood I've had in our area. Fish tastes very fresh and not previously frozen like most. Definitely prepared by someone that takes pride in what they do. Family owned and operated - Not a franchise. I had the grouper but forgot to take pics - phenomenal! This place definitely Did Not Disappoint!

One of the best places I have ever ate. Amazing family that owns the restaurant, super friendly, fast service and by far the best restaurant experience i have ever had. My wife and I have ate here daily since they have opened. The food speaks for itself, give it a try and I dont think you will be disappointed.

After hearing several friends and family talk about how great this place was we visited Kingfish on 1/17/26 around 4:30pm and decided to try it for ourselves. We were welcomed and taken to our seats and promptly Alli/Allison our waitress was there with a smile to take our drink order and let us know the specials and make sure we were taken care of. After a few minutes of going over the menu I decided on the salt and pepper catfish and flounder with a baked potato and she had the flounder and shrimp with a salad. In just a very short time our meals were out and looked great. They were all made perfect and nothing left out or missing.
