King Classic Bakery

I ordered a red velvet cake from the King’s with very short notice (less than 24 hours) for my dad‘s birthday and Robin immediately called me to clarify a few details - which is always a great sign…communication, even at night! the cake was beautiful, huge and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend her bakery. folks should try local bakeries in the winston area, rather than dewey’s!

We had a little mishap with the order not being ready when we went to pick it up. But Robin went out of her way “literally” to correct the problem and she delivered us a delicious sheet cake just in time for our party. We had the white cake which was fluffy and moist. Everyone was very happy and I would say overall, the cake was pretty good! I would go back again.

Honestly I was nervous because I’ve never placed an order with them before. However, the ladies that took my order were super duper nice, confident and the cake that I ordered looked wonderful, and the taste was totally out of this world DELICIOUS!!! This is the BEST experience EVER, and I can officially say that this is going to be my favorite location of all time!!! I can’t wait to try more cakes, pastries, and other heavenly goodies of deliciousness!!! I highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone!!

Robin makes the absolute BEST pineapple cake - fluffy, with a tender crumb, and moist (sorry) with an amazingly light and refreshing pineapple topping (not really an icing - think more cool whip consistency). We used to purchase slices of her cake in various coffee shops and restaurants around town, but then we learned that King Classic Bakery was their supplier, so we went straight to the source! Robin's cakes are amazing!

I’m from Pennsylvania visiting family here in NC and wanted to find a good bakery and boy, did I! Best eclair I’ve ever had. Both my mother and I couldn’t believe how delicious it was, and we’re originally from New Jersey where bakeries are a BIG deal. Quick and friendly service, well worth a visit!
