King and I Thai Restaurant

It's like I was transported to the heart of thailand and had the kingdoms greatest dishes! Had a wonderful time and was treated so well by the restaurant workers here! I had the pad thai with shrimp because I'm basic, but it was the best I've had in ages! The streamed dumplings appetizer was also so good! Finished the meal with a sweet Thai iced tea. Love this place, and I would highly recommend it!

I’ve been walking past King and I in downtown Nyack for the past 15 years and finally decided to walk in—and now I’m wondering why I didn’t do it sooner. The decor is absolutely beautiful, warm and inviting with an elegant Thai touch. The food was incredibly authentic, full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. A true gem in Nyack—I'll definitely be back.

This feels like a “mom and pop” kind of restaurant and I mean that in the best way possible. I had the pad thai and it was by far the BEST pad thai I’ve ever had. Sometimes pad thai can be a bit greasy, but this just had an amazing sauce that had some great herbs and spices in it. If I’m in Nyack, I will definitely come back!

This relic hidden in the commercial corridor of West Nyack serves up Thai food from the hands of generations old recipes. The food was delicious and our server who was also the owner was gentle and incredibly friendly. Recommend visiting this establishment and enjoying some authentic Thai food.

My friends I I used to come to the King and I in Nyack when we were in high school, and today I brought my own children for the first time. The King and I was every bit as delicious as I remember, and I have a newfound appreciation for the elegance and beauty of the restaurant. The Thai dishes are authentic, lovely, and of the highest quality, and I was amazed to find myself in a restaurant where you did not have to struggle to hear conversation over the din or clanging of metal on cement or wood. We will be back!
