Kineo View Lodge

Older hotel just outside Greenville that is very well maintained. The room was very clean and quite comfortable. The best parts were the friendly service and an amazing view of the lake and surrounding area. This hotel is highly recommended.

Visited from the UK and stayed 3 nights. Loved staying here. So peaceful and quiet, just out of town. It met our expectations and had great views of mountains and Moosehead Lake in the distance, and we even got to see the Northern Lights! Really enjoyed visiting Greenville and would love to come back one day.

First, it’s very rare that I rate any hotel as a 5. Have stayed in Greenville many times and I think this is as good as it gets in Greenville. The rooms are large and have all the convenient amenities. I found the bed to be OK and the bathroom just a little dated, but not bad. The balconies and the views were really nice. I found everyone at the hotel nice and helpful. Don’t worry about the comments on the road in, it’s fine. When I go back again, I’ll stay here.

They were helpful and friendly when I stopped by early to get my room key and pay for the room. They previous guest were late checking out, so we couldn’t actually get into the room. The room was quite large with a nice couch and balcony. Also had a coffee make, refrigerator, and M/W. Good TV. The bathroom was a little smaller, although better than some of the hotels in the area, which all tend to be older. It was a little rainy and foggy, but still had some nice views. We were on the first floor and I think the second floor would be a little better. We seem to go back to Greenville quite often and I will use them again.

The Kineo View offers plenty of mountain views and partial view of Maine's largest lake, Moosehead Lake. It sits atop a hill about 3 miles south of Greenville, Maine. Each of the 12 rooms has a private balcony overlooking the back fields and mountains. While we were there, we spent a lot of time watching the deer grazing in the fields. At one point there was a buck, doe and two fawns. ||The rooms were very clean and updated. We had a king room with a comfortable rocker chair, flat-screen TV, desk, college-size refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. On the deck were two chairs a small table where you could sit and look out over mountains.||We used the firepit one night and others used the corn hole boards. There was a basketball hoop in the parking lot, but I didn't check to see i
