Kin2Kin Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar

Food is so good!! Be prepared to wait just a bit, getting a table and getting quality food takes time. Roughly 10 minute wait (Friday night at 6:45) and about 20 minutes for our dinner. Sushi and hibachi tonight and both were 100% fabulous! Family friendly spot, our 10 year old son loves it, too!

Special sunset roll was very good. Baked with creme cheese, taste and decoration was great. Imperial seafood platter portion huge, good for two people. Only feedback would be to put less soy sauce as it tasted very salty. Otherwise seafood ( scallop, shrimp and salmon) were cooked to perfection. Fried rice could have been better. Overall, great experience and good value.

By far best sushi and hibachi around, my favorite restaurant in Morganton! Every roll I’ve tried has been amazing and the hibachi is always so fresh. I can’t go without ordering some of the cabbage egg rolls. Employees are always friendly. Sometimes we catch half off select sushi roll nights and it’s a deal you can’t beat!

As much as I’ve heard about how great kin2kin is, it was an ok place to eat. I wouldn’t come here to eat Japanese food. The hibachi flavor definitely isn’t there. The portions were good size. The place is rather small. People had to wait for tables just like us. The service was nice. The best dish there was probably the miso soup. The salad was bitter for some reason. Would I go again? No.

We ordered out and everything was very tasty! The best spot for sushi around the area we have found thus far! I posted pictures of our food even in takeout the rolls were decorated. I can’t review about the hibachi because we only ordered sushi this time around, the only reason I give 4 stars is the website issue. I posted pictures of their menu which is current for anyone looking!! We enjoyed and sure you will too!!
