While the taste still isn’t entirely authentic, this is probably the closest to traditional Korean food you can get in the area - proven by the several Korean-speaking tables around us. Service is a bit slow but the food is good and well portioned (kimchi pancake was HUGE), though the provided sides leave something to be desired. The free barley tea was a really nice touch on this rainy day and though it is a small spot fit inside a supermarket, I personally liked the atmosphere and found it contributed to that more local and authentic feeling.
This place is located at 6014 Duraleigh Rd Raleigh PA 10111. We didn't mean to come across this market but we did lol. Glade it happened that way. For the longest my partner and I watch individuals eat these dogs on YouTube. As we watched we wanted to taste and finally had that chance to do so. Let me tell you it was amazing!!!! The cheese pull was pulling and the flavor was busing for sure. Highly recommend anyone to go to this restaurant and market place definitely worth it plus food made to order too. Total price was $13.50 with tax $14.48.
Food came out so good everything tasted so authentic. The spicy pork and dukboki was actually spicy! The spicy fried chicken was so delicious, highly recommend. The food does take a while to come out so you should go shopping while you wait. It's nice that you can buy a drink/snack along with your meal.
The food here is very good! I got the dolsot bibimbap. The bowl was sizzling hot and it made the rice at the bottom very crispy. The spicy squid was also very good. The entrées came with miso soup and sides, like kimchi. It’s a casual restaurant connected to the Korean market. You pay at the front and it’s self serve pick-up at the kitchen window.
I’ve been here twice now and the food has been great both. Presentations look simple but it’s fresh and has great flavors. I love the Korean rice cake dishes so this one was pretty good. Spicy but not too spicy. I also recommend the short ribs. Savory with a touch of sweetness. I do think it’s worth the price since we always leave with leftovers. Half a point off bc it gets really stuffy inside. Hopefully they can expand and give the customers a bit more room. I would definitely come back to try their chicken wings.
