We came in an hour before closing and were still greeted warmly and kindly, like family, which already tells you everything you need to know about this place. I ordered the white meat fried chicken, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and made the way real soul food is supposed to be made. The collard greens were easily the best I have ever had. Full of flavor, cooked with care, and clearly made by someone who knows exactly what they are doing. The cornbread was spot on. Lightly sweetened, not dry, not cake, just right. Ms. Kim's is AMAZING!! Food, service, staff taking time to conversate. Enjoyed the visit and will return! Buffet is not like a typical chain style restaurant offers. Small, but the flavor of ALL the food offered will touch your SOUL! Fried pork chops, chicken, fish have light breading without the after taste of oil, Greens, green beans, corn, cornbread dressing, gravy all taste like made from scratch, like made with Love like gramma used to. And lemme tell you bout the cobbler.....MMMMMMMan gotta have some more. This is a little gem that I'm surprised more of Gwood is not sharing. If you are in need of some real home cooked southern SOUL type food, Ms Kim's with satisfy your palate.

Food was nothing like pictures. Very limited items to be called a buffet. Mac and cheese was ok collards good all meat was cold. Maybe we were there at the wrong time.1:30 on friday?. Only reason I gave a 2 was that we were greeted by a very nice lady and she di check on us. But 15 dollars was way over priced. Will never return.

Let me start by saying this place is absolutely amazing! The food is flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The fried chicken was crispy, but the BBQ chicken, which reminded me of my mom's cooking, was my favorite. The restaurant was spotless, which made the dining experience even better. As a Black-owned establishment, it's the perfect spot to grab a meal. Whether you're ordering off the menu or enjoying the buffet, there's something for everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Don’t forget to try the lemonade!
