Kim's Crab House

Overall, it is a decent seafood restaurant. Prices and portions are really good. However, options may be limited compared to other seafood places (like tartar sauce, hush puppies, etc.), but that might not be their focus, as they do offer platters.

Kim's crab house is amazing the service is excellent I had crabs to travel all the way back to New Jersey you will not be disappointed Kim and his staff are the best

Kim’s is my neighborhood seafood spot that I always get my fresh whitting fish. The sauté crabs are delicious 🤤. I also had the steamed salmon patter. It was a bit salty for my taste but it was a lot! The salmon is fresh and the piece was huge. The owner had some good music on and me and my mom was jamming in there. Very cool friendly business owner. He even gave us a few free crabs. I would definitely go back.

The ONLY good thing was that the crabs were super heavy and meaty there were more bad crabs then good some were overcooked..recooked.. completely empty and some just smelled and looked really bad the asian guy was awesome wonderful customer service the lady was a bit overwhelmed but she was friendly it was just the one black man who was rude and didnt fit in with the positive customer service vibes

Okay, considering Chester seafood spots are extremely limited I'll be generous & give Kim's 3 stars. Service is okay. There are no menus to order from. This was my 3rd time eating here & again I'm not impressed. My food was over priced as is everything in the store. I'm attaching some pics of my last purchase looks are deceiving; there was a large amount of margine NOT butter in the bottom of the platter.. There was no flavor to the crabs or shrimp. These pics & review is from my experience 2 days ago & i still haven't finished the platter (see before & after pics) had this been a platter from anywhere else it wouldn't have survived an hour lol. Buy at your own risk!
