Delicious, fun spot to go to with friends or family. The customizable Korean corn dogs are simply superb, and they have same really fun combinations like Hot Cheetos. We also tried the Kimchipapi Fries, which had a great blend of toppings. There’s some searing inside, though not a lot, but it wasn’t crowded when we came. Would definitely recommend going if you get the chance.
The branding of this place from the store’s interior to the take-out packaging really plays on meme kulture. Hate it or love it, but I think it’s fun. Ordering is straightforward with the self-service kiosk, and service was fast (10 minutes). - Krab Salad Hot Dog ($9.99): The advertisement picture tempted me into ordering this, but it tasted exactly as I had expected: not bad, but nothing mind-blowing, so it is not something I would order again. The 100% premium beef did taste better than basic, store-bought sausages, but I think I would have liked this more with a toasted bun and saucier krab salad. - Original Korndog with Mozzarella Cheese ($5.99): Well worth the price because this korndog was thicc—so much so that the weight started to pull it off the stick when held. The batter was c
Tiny Korean food stand with incredible take-out options and (if you don't mind being cramped) small tables and stools for eating in.
Kimchipapi got me through the worst summer in memory— most satisfying comfort food. The KFC bowl, potato corn dog (I’m partial to the 1/2 & 1/2) and budae jjigae are our favorites. And new on the menu: fries spam…HELLO?!?? So tasty it’s addictive and not too spicy for the sensitive diner! I could eat here every day. Super fresh ingredients. Dining area is small, hence the 4 stars, but the taste and portions outweigh that by far. I always manage to get 2 meals out of a single order, so it’s totally worth the price. I got my husband and few friends addicted…don’t say you weren’t warned!
Got the kimchipapi bowl, corn dog, tteokbokki, and 8pcs honey teriyaki chicken for delivery. Their chicken was heavily seasoned (too salty) and very dry on the inside. It seemed like they only used chicken breast for their boneless chicken, but the quality was far below average. Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) was also one of the worst I had. For $14, you only get 3 “small” rice cakes and some fish cakes. They do provide a small side of noodles, but it simply can’t justify the price tag. Overall, poke bowls and corn dogs here may be okay, but I wouldn’t recommend going for their other menus.
