Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge

I can’t say enough good things about Kilwins in Holland! Every time I walk in, I’m instantly hit with the amazing smell of fudge and chocolate, and it just makes my day. Their selection of handmade chocolates, ice cream, and fudge is to die for. I recently tried their fudge, and wow, it was so creamy and rich, truly some of the best I’ve ever had. They have a ton of flavors, which makes it hard to choose just one! The staff is super friendly and always eager to help. They even let you sample some goodies, which is a great touch! If you’re in Holland and have a love for sweets, you really need to check out Kilwins. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to treat myself!

My husband, my daughter, myself, and with some friends went there after our dinner around 7:00pm on Saturday, February 3. When we got there, it was busy, but we didn’t wait in line for long. I wanted their waffle bowl, but they ran out. I was not upset, because I understood it was close to closing time and it was the weekend. I got the waffle cone instead; tastes just as good. I got a half of scoop of the Toasted Coconut and a half scoop of the Cappuccino Chocolate Chip; delicious combination (see 1st photo ). If you get a chance, stop by there. They’ll give you a little sample if you’re not sure of the flavor, but you must try the Cappuccino Chocolate Chip and the Toasted Coconut for sure! The atmosphere was good. Wow, we loved all the store made treats. If you have a sweet tooth then this store is sure to satisfy. Kids will love it and adults will enjoy the selection. We will definitely stop by next time were in town.

Kilwins is Michigan's gem. I know they are expanded across the US, but I really think the Holland location and the employees there take the store back to its origins. Went tonight for ice cream and treats. The girls working the counter were very friendly and patient. Made the whole experience worth it. I've been here many times and their ice cream, fudge, chocolate, and carmel is always consistently delicious. Never had a bad experience here. Stop in and enjoy something fun!

Aug 2025: I went back again and had a scoop of blueberry waffle cone ice cream. That had to be the best blueberry ice cream I’ve ever had, and the little pieces of waffle cone mixed in gave it an amazing texture. No complaints about this place, I’ll be back again. May 2023: We stopped in after dinner for ice cream and they have a great selection of flavors. They also have a ton of chocolate candy and different types of huge caramel apples and fudge. The staff are friendly and provide great service. We will be back again to try something other than ice cream.
