Kiki's Chicken and Waffles

We had to wait an hour for our food. Then, get the food it's cold. We had been there before other people and they got their food before we did. The bathrooms are nasty. We was dealing with the manager. They was arguing in the back. We will never come back here. We came from out of town just to try this place never again.

The food was good, but unfortunately the cleanliness and service really took away from the experience. The restaurant appeared dirty, and our service was disappointing. The young lady who served my husband and me took our order and brought our food, but we weren’t given napkins or proper utensils—only plastic ones. We also ran out of drinks and asked for refills, but didn’t receive them until we were getting ready to leave. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed, but this location definitely needs improvement. For now, I’ll stick with the Parklane location, which has consistently provided better service.

I had heard great things about Kiki's, and I've never felt disappointed. I've been to both locations, but I like the layout of this location a bit better. The music is always perfect, and the service has been quick and courteous. I still remember the first time I had the smothered chicken, and it was exactly what I wanted in a comfort meal. The portions were more than enough for us, and the price felt fair. I'd go more often if I didn't live so far away!

Ok, this was my first experience at this location with my family. The waitress did a great job remembering all the orders without writing it down👍🏿. Which was cool. So, the food was good overall. The Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Cabbage was a lil bland that needed more flavor. The chicken was good along with the Full Rack of Ribs, which the taste & tenderness was also good👌🏿.And of course the waffle which is always good 🙌🏿. But, I would definitely come back for a round 2.

Tried Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles near Columbia Mall. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, probably the best part at a 7.5 out of 10. The waffles and shrimp and grits were both decent, solid 7s. It was a bit expensive for what I ordered, but overall I’d give the place a 7 out of 10.
