It was our first time there. It was exactly our kind of family feeling place. Maria and Felipe are so warm and friendly. They have so many wonderful and delicious menu items. The hash browns are the best I've ever tasted. The new additions to the menu like pupusas, maduros con crema and empanadas are a perfect match to any breakfast item. My hubby and I decided that we just found our new favorite breakfast spot. Also, part of the charm is the tiny dining space. You feel like you're sitting in Maria and Felipe's kitchen with friends and family.

You are not going to find a more affordable place for breakfast anywhere. My friend and I can both have coffee and breakfast for only 20 dollars. The menu is limited to basic breakfast options that keeps costs down. The hashbrowns are by far the best tasting hashbrowns you were find anywhere. Most diners are bland and the portion is to big. So I'm paying more for something I don't eat These hashbrowns are delicious and a resonable portion. So I'm paying less for something I'm actually eating

The new owners Maria and Felipe have made their mark with Fan Coffee Shop in the Oceanside and neighboring communities. While still honoring the previous owner Kevin, they have revitalized this gem of a place with their own twist. They have kept the menu along with the unbeatable prices but they also now have credit/debit/venmo options for payment. My typical go-to breakfast is the corned beef hash platter but definitely do not miss out on their new menu items such as the empanadas and the fresh mango juice. They keep the place absolutely pristine and anytime you walk in, they make you feel right at home.

The absolute best! My son and I come every Saturday, not only is the food great but the service is amazing. Felipe and Maria are great people and attend to their customers helping to always make them feel comfortable. This has become the norm for myself and son and we look forward to many more times!

Great breakfast at a cheap price! Old school feel to the place. The owners were very nice.
