Kerryman Irish Bar & Restaurant

Definitely order the black angus sliders, they were flavorful and good in portion for starters. They had happy hour drinks available, and mimosas were an option! I have never tried fish and chips so this was my first time and it was amazing. The portion sizes were fulfilling and the fish was crispy and light. The potatoes wedges were nice and thick as well. The inside was cozy, with a nice rich wooden, Irish style pub theme. The bathrooms are all the way downstairs which can be tricky to find but I like how you can sit upstairs because they have hooks on the wall to hang your jackets.

Food was great, ALL service people were kind, engaging, and on point. It ran like a well oiled machine, but all staff took a little time with you (not transactional). The atmosphere was lively and fun. My waitress went out of her way to just be thoughtful. I had the shepards pie and bread pudding. Hope I can return.

First time in Chicago and this Irish Pub is near by the Hotel. Very good place. Fish and chips was delicious. On my second visit i did order the Corned Beef sandwich and it was amazing. I do love this place.

The best shepherds pie and fish and chips for sure! The drinks were just ok because the light and tan drink was just tan! And my old fashion was wayyy too sweet! Our server was not in too of things for us at all, never told us about the up charge for tartar sauce, and while we were waiting for a box to go for our left over and for the check, we realized she had changed and was having drinks at the bar with other friends 😁 luckily for us we asked the food runner and he made sure we got the check.

Hands down. A staple spot for good food, good service and good company. If you’re looking for a no frills, local real Irish restaurant- this is it.
