Customer Reviews
Brisket was delicious and plenty of it. Enough leftovers for another meal at home. Hot links good. Baked beans good as well. BTW, maps still has the old address. They're uptown now. West side across from the bank.
it's a pretty good barbecue place also. it's small and they were moving businesses to a new location but they took care of us like they should have and I think it was pretty nice. I had a smoked sausage sandwich that was not bad at all and they have some pretty good barbecue sauce. I did see a bottle of Head Country BBQ sauce in the refrigerator, not sure if that's what they use or if that's what they make their base out of but it was still good.
Stop in today .Got a big hello as I walked in the door. Being a fat kid i decided to go for the 3 meat plate. Went with Ribs Hot links and sasauage. Baked beans and Tater salad. And a glass of sweet tea to warsh it down . Had a seat in what felt like sitting at my kitchen table. The dining area made me feel at home. Then my food arrived. I'll be the 1st to say they are not scared to put some food on your plate. Even had green onion pickle.. Ribs were very tender i did find the rub a little salty for my taste. But had good flavor. The hot links and sasauage were good .as well as the sides. This place is 100% Fat Kid approved. And I had left overs. Something that never happens. I will be back .
The potato salad was dry and the Cole slaw smelled old. The barbecue meat loaf wasn't worth the price of the $13.00 meal without a drink. The north end of the building was open, basicly old shed and looked filthy with wet trash. Gave them a 3 star only because it was a small town and the lady was friendly.
Don’t know about the food, would like to try it eventually. Drove 40 minutes to this place and it was closed. Update your Google hours since your closed at 6pm I guess.
