I absolutely love this store! I'll come on a weeknight to catch up with friends, and it's truly such a special place to me. While the ice-cream is always perfect, the workers there are the real stars! Always patient and welcoming! I've never been to a store, with such consistent customer service, regardless of the crowds or requests from guests. Tonight the store had a sale, which had people line up out the door. When we got inside, I only saw 2 workers managing the order/ check out process. Even with the long line of customers, they greeted everyone with a smile, and made sure your order was perfect-- making sure to have a personable conversation in the midst of a slammed night. High-quality, unique ice cream flavors in a colorful and family-friendly establishment. This ice cream parlor likely serves the best hand-scooped ice cream you'll find in the area. Quite traditional, they offer a number of cones, bowls, sundaes, floats, and shakes, but none of the mix-ins or blended ice cream confections popular at soft serve, custard, or cold counter (such as Cold Stone) establishments. You won't complain. The ice cream flight is a nice touch. Expect a line. It's a bit of a grumble. No samples. Use your imagination on the flavors. Another grumble, but they're busy and no ice cream shoppe -has- to offer them.
