Kellam's Seafood

We stopped by Kellam’s to pick up some blue crabs to steam while in town for a swimming competition at St. Mary’s College. Our rental had a steaming pot and we normally steam our own crabs anyways back home where we live in Baltimore so we figured why not give Kellam’s a chance. They did not disappoint on the price for #1 males (very cheap for what we are used to back home) or the with the freshness of the blue crabs they sell. Every single one was packed with lump back fin meat and were all delicious, very clean crabs. Would highly recommend to any local or out of towner that wants live or steamed blue crab. Will return again if we ever return to the area for another swim meet!

I usually go here when visiting southern MD. Great fresh & frozen local fish, crab, and oysters. Friendly, helpful staff. Locally owned and operated. Just the kind of place where I like to take my business.

Great local spot with friendly staff. Freshest seafood around and a solid new selection of bait and tackle that works great at Point Lookout.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. They advised us on the best seafood to meet our needed for a weekend trip to the area. They even steamed and seasoned the crabs for us, had paper and mallets. The crabs were delicious. I would highly recommend the shrimp and crab!!! Call ahead and make orders for pick up the next day would be our recommendation.

The young lady named Nita? Was wonderful. She prepared the crabs and the shrimp perfectly. I also took home some live soft shell crabs that were huge and delicious. Prices were the best for seafood in all of Southern Md. Sure do hope it stays that way. Best kept secret!🦀🦐🐡🦈🐳🐟
