Ked's Ice Cream Waffles & Crepes - Castlehills

I just want to reach out and say that I went here back in December 2025 (first time visiting any Ked’s Ice Cream location) to treat my little sisters and myself to ice cream/crepes. My sisters ordered ice cream, which they enjoyed because they’re not picky at all when it comes to sweet stuff. 2 stars for that, once for each sister. I, on the other end, ordered a crepe. I was traumatized from ordering from this place because not only did they take a VERY long time to make my order, they proceeded to tell me that the crepe batter was spoiled after I waited for almost 25 minutes. The crepe order was one of the more expensive items, so they asked me if I want an alternative dessert. I tried ordering an ice cream shake and an employee told me that the blender wasn’t working. My favorite falooda stop in the town. Shahi falooda is my favorite Honestly, that spot for falooda is pretty unbeatable. Their shahi falooda is just out of this world, seriously. It's got that perfect blend of textures and flavors that I crave. Every time I go, I can't resist ordering it. It’s like a little treat for myself that always hits the spot. The generous toppings are always a highlight too. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you feel good. Definitely my go-to place for a refreshing sweet fix.

I was looking for a sweet treat late at night during the winter storm in Metro Dallas and came across Ked’s because they were one of the few spots open after 10 PM on a weekday. I’m so happy I found this ice cream shop. As soon as I walked in I immediately notice and loved the sense of community in the establishment. Based on the mix of traditional options and unique flavors like Durian, and customers, it was apparent that the establishment had ties to the Indian culture. The ice cream was amazing and as a waffle lover I appreciated the variety of options to enhance the treat. The Nut N Honey waffle was AMAZING!!! A banana split is one of the most emotional desserts you can make — simple, nostalgic, and full of joy. So when it’s done wrong, it really hurts. These guys clearly had no idea! It should’ve been overflowing with whipped cream, sprinkled with nuts, and transformed into an unforgettable experience. Instead, it was a half-hearted effort — especially for the price I paid.
