Keansburg Beach

Perfect off season spot for me and my dogs. Hoping that stays a secret so it doesn't get overrun lol

The beach is truly beautiful, with soft sands and stunning views that would have easily earned it a five-star rating. Unfortunately, the occasional littering tarnishes its charm. On one visit, my child stepped on a sharp piece of glass from a broken bottle, which was a painful reminder of how important it is for everyone to keep such beautiful places clean and safe.

i really enjoyed my time at this beach. it wasn’t crowded at all. and it’s so quiet and peaceful. you just hear the waves crashing on the beach and the wind. the water isn’t muggy it’s just normal and clean enough beach. most people clean up after themselves here - seems like so at least. there is paid parking by the “boardwalk” area but i didn’t realize so i just street parked for free. it wasn’t hard to find parking for me. only thing is that i didn’t see much food near the beach where i entered and walked. i will have to search more and update on that next time. i would come back to this beach! i loved the calm because it was just what i needed.

“Keansburg Beach is a hidden gem along the Jersey Shore. I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and family-friendly the atmosphere was. The water was calm, making it perfect for kids, and the nearby boardwalk with rides and food options made the day even more fun. It’s an affordable and convenient destination for a relaxing beach day. Definitely worth a visit!

We like this beach for several reasons. First, it is only about an hour from home. The beach is free, you only pay to park ($2.50/hour). There aren't many amenities here(no lifeguards or snack places on beach side). There is an amusement park, but it usually opens after we leave for the day(9am-1pm is our usual beach time). This means that this beach usually isn't busy while we are here. I also like the fact that we can see the city from the beach. There are restrooms with showers in the middle of the beach. We park close to the amusement park because it's easier to get to the beach. This means it's a 7 minute walk to the restrooms. Other places are more of an uphill hike. One of the other main reasons we like this beach is the water is usually calm. We also go to 7 Presidents B
