Kava Haus

Kava Haus is my absolute happy place. Every visit starts with a flat white and whichever scone happens to tickle my fancy that day - and somehow it’s always perfect. The drinks and food are incredible, the space is cozy and grounding, and the staff is genuinely the sweetest, most fun group of humans. I’m here often enough that they know me by name, which says everything about the welcoming, caring, and personable community they’ve built. It’s the ideal spot to write, read, decompress, just be, and feel completely at home while doing it.

What a great coffee shop with such a warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff! They offer daily food and drink specials that include scones, egg bakes, biscuits and gravy, delicious cinnamon rolls, and more! Definitely go check them out!

Another coffee haus in Wilmington that is a must go too. I love coffee and this place is wonderful! Friendly staff and great service. Had a Chai latte with espresso and it was well balanced. Intimate setting in a historic building creates a nostalgic setting to enjoy coffee with a friend or solo. Breakfast food and pastries available. Highly recommend!

Exceptional. They take pride in every drink, pastry, pizza that is created in their restaurant. I was intrigued by the fact that they buy their flour from France, as I am sensitive to products with any product with gluten made from U.S. flour. I was truly excited to actually be able to eat a handmade pizza. It was certainly worth the wait! The sandwiches are also baked with the 00 flour from France as well. I am really looking forward to trying more of the food I saw on their menu. I will definitely be stopping here again when I am in Wilmington!

I love this coffee house. It was a funeral home that has been converted into a coffee house. The atmosphere was unique and amazing. We ordered The Great Pumpkin coffee drinks. They were delicious. All in all I would be there everyday just to sit and enjoy a good drink and absorb the atmosphere.
