Customer Reviews
I ordered their Chicken Katsu Sando Meal and Cheese Ball. The bento box itself looks appealing, with sections for pickles, salads, sesame balls, and mac and cheese. The chicken katsu itself tasted alright, but its flavor was a bit plain. The mac and cheese was interesting since it had a wasabi taste that was a surprise.
Small unassuming entrance. You order at the kiosk at the front (there's one for a Korean restaurant here too) and then sit. There has not been a line or a lot of people inside the times I've been for dinner on a weeknight. Good vibes if you just want to eat alone after work one day. Good amount of tables and chairs and self service water. The food doesn't come out super fast but that's because they have a ton of takeout and delivery orders. But it is pretty yummy and good quantity. I'll keep coming.
I ordered hire katsu and panko shrimp. They were so good and I’ll definitely reorder them.
Everything was so good. Full of flavors and meat was so juicy. Portion was good. I would definitely order again.
Coming back from a trip to Tokyo, I realized that I'd forgotten to get one of the famed katsu sandos. Not easy to find here if you don't want something that came out the fridge at Nijiya. This place didn't disappoint. Got the katsu sando, with a optional kinda bento thing (mac salad, Japanese pickles). Katsu was nice and thick, bread was nice and thin. Mac salad noodles were properly firm. It's also a welcome find in that area of Market St. which mostly has boring office-lunch places. Looks like they just added tteokbokki to their menu, which is easier to find in general --- but definitely not in that area. Ordering is on a kiosk, but they will give you table service. Tip accordingly, LOL.
