I've been coming to Katie's since I was a teenager. Always excellent food. I usually get the Irish Dip. OMG SO GOOD. I've tried making it at home and it's just not the same. I don't come as much as I used to but the food is still delicious!

A little hard to find using GPS however it's right in the middle of the strip mall. Lots of parking. Seated immediately. Our server was friendly, attentive and had our drinks to us quickly. Unfortunately Coke products only no Pepsi for us. We placed our order and before you can blink an eye the food was on our table. I had the fish and chips. Good size piece, perfectly cooked with crispy batter. Good size portion of fries. Hubby had the battered shrimp. He had no complaints. He then indulged with a peach cobbler. Wasn't like grandma use to make. Was more like a crisp than a cobbler but he ate it all!
We heard great things about the fish and chips, so we decided to find out for ourselves. We arrived at 7 pm to a nearly full house, yet we found a booth that the manager cleaned for us. He was very friendly and kind. The room had a rather loud tavern/bar noise level, which felt familiar. The booth was clean and cozy with backs high enough to muffle some of the noise. We got one fish and chip order with a tiny condiment of sweet cole slaw and a nice amount of hot french fries. The fish - 1 fileted piece of white fish (cod?) was rather soggy and overcooked. The slaw needed more acidity and less sugar - also, there wasn't much of it, maybe 3 tbls? We also ordered a corned beef rueban and a cup of lentil and sausage soup. The sandwich was a little greasy but delicious! The soup was interestin
Friendly and cozy pub with fantastic Irish and American options to suit every appetite. Ample parking, and nice outdoor seating for enjoying the cooler weather.
