Karo’s Cake Shop

I searched up cake shops and this shop came up first as a top good cake place to go. So me and my friend had decided to go and check it out and see if it was true and not. So when we had went the own had actually attended us and helped me and my friend with placing an order for her son's upcoming birthday. She was so nice that I purchased a cake for my sister's birthday. When my family and I had tried my sister's cake, oh my gosh let me tell you that it is so good and worth checking it out.

Man I wanted something sweet and good and boom Google Karo's cake. I got a slice of chocolate and a slice of carrot cake. The chocolate cake was dry and probably super old..the icing broke off into chunks. The carrot 🥕 cake was a little better, I can tell it was at least two days old but much fresher than that chocolate cake. I don't like doing bad reviews especially for small business, but they can't sell old cake like that, some times you have to take that L and keep smaller portions but fresher portions.

They make visually nice cakes however when it comes to taste they need some improvement. After reading the reviews. I ask the young lady to please make sure the cake was moist because I didn't want a dry cake. She said yes all our cakes are moist because we put something in them two give them the moisture. When I picked up the cake it indeed had two holes where I assume the injections of water went because those were the only places the cake was wet. The rest of the cake was dry and the blue filling tasted too much like food coloring.

The staff here is very friendly. One of my fav. Cake shops closed during the pandemic and was scared I wouldn’t find the perfect cake for my weeding, thankfully after doing a search I found Karol’s cake shop, I stop by bought a piece of cake and booked a cake tasting date. We are super happy with the results, they arrived at the time we asked for them to drop off the cake. Everyone loved not only the designed but the taste of the cakes as well. ❤️this cake shop! They did it again, I order a second cake (lavender cake) from this shop and everyone kept asking for the name of the cake shop! It’s a must! ❤️it. They got the order exactly how I asked for it, simple soft lavender cake! ❤️ IT

I got a slice of their chocoflan and it was very delicious. Flan had that thickness that I like....but their macarons were not it. They were hard and would crumble. Disappointed since this was the main reason I came here.
