Karobean Kitchen (KBK)-Grab-n-Go

Absolutely one of my favorite hidden gems in the Hartford area. This Jamaican/ soul food takeout restaurant is located inside of a convience store. Everything is incredible, from the Oxtail, to the Curry and Jerk Chicken. They fry the fish to order and the portion sizes are huge. For 12 or 13 dollars, you get enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Definitely take the drive if you’re ever in the Windsor area.

Good food excellent service and did I mention the food if you haven't been to Karobean Kitchen you need to come down and grab some Hawaiian Chicken or maybe Moms Mac and Cheeese either way you wont be disappointed

What a restaurant!!! Today was my first day coming to this restaurant and I am well pleased! I was able to meet Chef Ty and test taste the oxtail (which was delicious by the way!) Everything I selected in the buffet style restaurant was literally amazing and I will certainly come back again and I encourage you lovely people to come in as well! The Pineapple ginger tea they have is a must try too, and the customer service is sweet. I love this place!

First time trying this for lunch today. We used to drive 30 minutes for Caribbean food...now we found a place 10 minutes away! Wow, flavor explosion! Delicious jerk chicken and curry chicken platters with rice& peas as well as veggie medley. What a great place! We will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

Update: Been there 3 times in 3 weeks. AWESOME FOOD! Top notch delicious everything. Authentic and perfect meat pies. We will return very soon. Worth a trip from anywhere to their (new) Broad Brook location.
