Karihan Filipino Food

2026/2/4 Wednesday. I am very very upset with Karihan filipino Restaurant in National City, SD. CA. At 1:p.m. today, I asked my husband to order for me Sinegang soup & Pancit. To me, Karihan has the best Pancit Bihon I've ever had! I can't find anywhere in SD that has as good or better pancit bihon than Karihan. Well, a great disappointment awaited me.I was angry & dissatisfied with the Foods. The Sinegang only had BONES in it, no meat what so ever! The Pancit Bihon was very hot & Spicy. If the cook didn't use hot pepper to pizzazz the food, then he must've dropped a whole bottle or container of black pepper while cooking the pancit!! It also had a dark coloration. This place was awesome! it has the perfect home-y atmosphere you would expect from your childhood home. The food was delicious and the restaurant was warm and inviting on a cold day. Lady at the front was very nice and the portions were very generous. Will definitely be back! ❤️

I knew I should’ve just went to Tita’s Kitchenette! As a customer I am disappointed and dissatisfied with this place. #1 Filipinos love rice, so the portion of rice wasn’t so bad, it was the beef caldareta I ordered, there was literally 5 pieces of meat and the rest was potato’s and bell peppers! For $13.59 (one item) combo plus the $2.00 canned soda! I wouldn’t come back and order food from here again until I get what I paid for! Not worth it, go to Titas or Lisa’s

My wife and I want to sincerely thank all the staff at Karihan. We had a party planned for 20 people, with food from Karihan. Somehow the need date got confused - the date on the order for pickup was 8 days AFTER the party was to happen. On very short notice, Karihan brought staff in from home and made all the needed food in less than an hour. The party was saved. Thank you VERY MUCH. dan and lilly kittredge

Expensive and small portoin. I tried to Support the business because theres not a lot of customers. No wonder! No customer eats here. Pancit has no flavor. ANG TABANG SOBRA. 1 size of side is not small, its extra extra small. Haha
