I'm in town for a conference and this restaurant is near my hotel. It's a small restaurant with limited seating, but there were tables available when I arrived. They have "meals of the day" and the meal for Friday was 4 crab rangoon, Mongolian chicken and a drink of your choice (not including smoothies). They also have a menu with many offerings. This meal was delicious! The crab rangoons were some of the best I've ever had and the Mongolian chicken was so flavorful! It had a lot of black pepper, so it was more spicy than I expected, but so yum! For my drink, I got a tarro milk tea. Such a delicious sweet end to my meal. Got the thai milk tea and the chocolate smoothie and they were both delicious! The chocolate smoothie wasnt too sweet and tasted very cocoa-ie(?) super good The thai tea was very sweet and i loved the brown sugar boba aswell!

I really like this place I know it’s has been switched owners food quality is still great it’s the atmosphere that doesn’t match. Heavy cigarette smell (I’m sure it’s from the tattoo, piercing or bar connected to them) parking in the front is non existent. I parked in the back and had to walk around with my children, not a problem in the daytime but nighttime would be slightly sketchy. If this place truly want to succeed i believe they should move to another space.

Kao Mun Gai is a hidden gem. Seriously !! Every option we tried was uniquely different from another. Manager Maria is very professional and always smiling. The inside is inviting and food OMG one of the best Thai restaurants. Great selection of bubble teas, unique sodas. It is definitely a must visit and we will definitely be back.
