Customer Reviews
Had a great experience here! The ramen was excellent and appetizers were just as good. We tried shrimp tempura and takoyaki, and both were delicious. The signature Kanji ramen 🍜 was very flavorful and really stood out. The server was attentive and welcoming, and the cozy ambiance made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Decent prices comared to other ramen spots around. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
This is the best ramen place I have had in Austin. From the Brussels sprouts to the ramen, it was all delicious. I got their veggie ramen and the tofu was marinated which usually doesn’t happen, it was a pleasant surprise. My fiancé got the Kanji signature ramen and he said that the broth is really good, the ingredients are so fresh. Best part is that because the ingredients are so fresh, and they don’t use dairy to make the broths creamier, you don’t feel bloated. We will definitely be going back!!
I’m not usually a big fan of ramen, but the ramen here completely changed my mind! The place is small and cozy, giving it a warm and welcoming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious — the broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings fresh and balanced. The mushroom salad was amazing, the Shumai dumplings were spot on, and the Takoyaki was absolutely mind-blowing. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Positives: pleasant staff; quiet restaurant setting; fair-to-large servings; local option super convenient to 183. Just 'liked' it because of odd/off flavors with relatively thinner broth, and prices that were a couple bucks higher than others at comparable quality.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the menu offered a wide variety of options to choose from.Overall, it's a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back!
