The egusi fufu were Disgusting. The chicken was Originally how I expected, The egusti was very oily, The dough was very hard and mushy On the bottom, The egusi had an Awful smell to it and the Supposedly neck bones were not neckbones. I let it slide with the first order I placed because I wasn't as hungry when it arrived & the egusi fufu was alright to eat but the second time I was expecting it to taste better than the first time I ordered but it was absolutely not eatable because of the poor unhealthy Qualities and they have to throw it away.
I enjoyed my meal here. The presentation caught me by surprise, but it was good. The fish was dry, but the flavors were there. I ate it all. It was good.
I love all different types of food despite me being vegetarian. If I could give them a zero I would. When I walked in I told the gentleman I was vegetarian and asked if they could do a veggie platter (side of fufu, cassava, rice, cabbage- something like so). He said I can choose anything on the menu without meat- so basically no. All the dishes were stews assuming they were cooked in meat. He lied and said they cook the meat separate. Not true! He was so rude and unfriendly. He finally recommended fufu with “gravy”- onions tomatoes peppers in a sauce. When I got home the “gravy” spilled all inside my bag and consisted of nothing but a can of oil and some fried onions. They also charged me $15! I was so angry I called and told them that my food spilled bc instead of putting it in a sealed c
I order the same meals the first time I order. The food was enough to truly enjoyed. We went to the restaurant to really sit down and eat, and support his restaurant. Well, this food is horrible. The rice is about a cup and,a half, the gizzards were burned and are not worth what I paid for them and the symbussa and the dip was the hottest dip I ever tasted. Could not use the dip for the symbuss, they were cold and hard. I will not support them if this is how they treat their customers. They must have new people working, this was nothing like my first meal, and it was not cold. 2 thumbs down for them.90
Ordered potato greens and received casava leaf full of oil and very little casava. No contact made but they cousin they tried. It shows avaliable on the online order portal. A neck bone and bits of chicken breast but mostly oil. It was like scraping the bottom of the pot. I direct almost $50 to never try this peace again. I'm sorry but this wasn't it. Total disappointment and I know great African food.
