Great date night spot. Super sexy vibes in here. Dim lighting, cool music, great atmosphere. The service really stood out too. From the host to the server to the bartender and even some guy who kept coming by to make sure our water glasses were full. I really appreciate a collaborative staff that helps each other out. I believe our server was named Alexa? Or Alexis? I feel terrible I can't remember because she was great. She encouraged us to try different parts of the menu, I made her pick her two favorites for us to try. Honestly, I think those were the best bites of the night. They have a really impressive tequila selection as well, they had my favorite in stock (La Gritona). Although this place is super cool and sexy for a date night, I could see a company event here as well. I definite

Kalimotxo is a true culinary gem in Austin. I was so grateful when my friend hosted a dinner here. The service was incredible from start to finish warm, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable. Every dish delivered deep, rich, vibrant flavors with beautiful plating. A few top picks Clear as Day Cocktail*** The Tomato Salad Shisito Peppers Texas Wagyu Ribeye*** Tuna Crudo Blistered Cheesecake Each presentation felt like art. The cocktails were just as impressive balanced, creative, and absolutely delicious despite insisting that I would have one I failed! The way they are able to get the ice so clear in the clear as day cocktail is still unbelievable to me. If you’re an mezcal fan you have to order it. I also had a delicious glass of wine. This is a must-visit for anyone who loves a dinin

We had a pretty decent meal here, albeit a bit disappointing for the price. Overall the food was good+, with a few of the dishes being quite tasty. For example, the bomba rice is quite excellent - the problem is the price: $30 for a very thin layer of rice with some mushrooms. Good but spendy. If the portion was double (it’s rice after all) I would rate it much higher. The burger special is a decent value (a nice burger, fries and a glass of wine for $24). The service was pretty mixed. Our actual waitress was pretty cold and seemed quite bored to be helping us. It was a quiet night so the chef (or maybe owner?) who came out to describe the dishes was great. So a mixed bag there.

Great place with authentic Spanish food and really good tapas. The croquettes and patatas bravas are especially worth highlighting, both were excellent. As for drinks, they offer Spanish beer (Estrella Damm) and very good vermouths, which are absolutely recommended. You definitely can’t leave without trying the cheesecake, one of the best you can find in the city.

I remember when they were downtown and now that they are on the east side, it's better, IMO. I wanted to check out their happy hour, which is a really good deal! On Mondays, it's half off wine bottles. And their wines are priced fairly to begin with. We tried a listan negro, which I haven't had before, but fun to try. Our bartender Christian was fun to chat with and hear about the history and just talk about the food we had. Patatas bravas, the tuna pintxo and the burger were all delicious and you NEED to get the burnt basque cheesecake. There are a few of their classic dishes from before but i think this new menu is more approachable. The ambiance is lovely, they light candles when the sun sets and gives it a cozy vibe. It's a spacious restaurant at the corner. I hope they thrive because
