Customer Reviews
Tried Kala Thai near Boston Public Market and loved it. The food had bright flavors and tasted fresh. It’s a small spot, so seats fill fast, but the service was quick and genuinely friendly. If you enjoy Thai food and want a cozy place with great taste, this one is worth a stop.
Absolutely delicious pad see ew, the noodles are fresh and have a very nice chewy texture to them. Everything was cooked to perfection, and was served piping hot. Will definitely be my go-to Thai spot when in Boston.
Visiting for our anniversary and wanted to mix up our dinners. Thai is my go to back at home so my standards are pretty high and tried my standard pad see ew, like a chow foon/fun noodles with egg and Chinese broccoli. Restaurant was pretty empty when we entered but filled up fast. Really small eating space with not very comfortable tables. Was placed between two other 2 person tables and it was so hard to concentrate on what your conversation was - one table was so loud and other didn't say much. Service was prompt and cordial. I ordered tofu pad see ew and a Thai iced coffee. Coffee was strong as expected and good. The pad see ew had a great wok taste but it was a little burnt in places and the portions of anything but noodles was not much. Ok value. Forgot to take a picture of my dish,
Ordered takeout, best way is by telephone and pay in store. The food was delicious but the noodle portions are less compared to the rice dishes. The papaya salad wasn't as great as others I've had, it came with a giant kale leaf that was brown, didn't seem as authentic because it wasn't pounded either. The Thai flavors are there in the dishes but for that price $15+ each not including add-ons for noodle selections I'd skip the noodles for takeout next time.
I went out for Thai food recently and everything was delicious. The place had a quiet vibe, easy to get to, and the dishes tasted super fresh. I ordered the grilled beef over rice and it was so good—tender, flavorful, and really satisfying. The service was smooth and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely somewhere I’d go back to and recommend if you’re craving authentic Thai flavors.
