KAIKI SUSHI

I stopped by for dinner with my husband and 2 year old toddler and everything from the service to the food was beyond impressive. Our server, Young, was fantastic and genuinely one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. She brought out all of our food super fast and didn’t miss a single detail – she made sure we had utensils for my toddler, brought ice to help cool down the udon, and constantly kept our water glasses full without us ever having to ask. We ordered the Jessica Albacore roll, Truffle Yuzu Halibut Sashimi, Chicken Karaage, Yummy Crispy Tempura Roll, salmon collar, uni sushi, mixed tempura and udon. Every single dish was fresh, delicious, and very well made. The flavors were clean and balanced, and you could really tell they use quality ingredients. And I am not kidding

Amazing experience at Kaiki Sushi! The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite was spot on. The service truly made the night special. Yong took such great care of us and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. She has incredible positive energy, always smiling, genuinely funny, and so friendly,it made the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibes, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back and recommending this place to friends!

Our second visit to Kaiki Sushi in Van Nuys was just as wonderful as the first. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We ordered the large sashimi platter and it was outstanding — beautifully presented, generous portions, and the fish was exceptionally fresh and delicious. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their food. For a newer spot, they are doing an excellent job. Parking was easy and convenient, which made the experience even smoother. This place is truly a hidden gem and one of the best local small-business sushi spots around. We will absolutely continue coming here.

I’ve eaten Sushi for 30 years at spots from Miami to LA and everywhere in between. Kaiki Sushi is easily in my top 3; and likely the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is humble but cool, good vibe. The place was clean. The Service is phenomenal, kind and incredibly welcoming. The food is, at the end of the day, what it’s all about. I had the 12 piece Sashimi and the Rice-free CandyCane Roll. A true Sushi restaurant can best be judged by its Sashimi; no rice, no sauces, tempura and cream cheese, etc. just a true test of the quality of their fish. The food is served with beautiful presentation and the taste matches. Every bite/cut of fish was extremely fresh and delicious. A true delicacy. I’ll be going back.

The food was very fresh and delicious! I have been to many sushi places but this one was the best of all!
