Kaché

Wow this is hands down one of my new favorite DC spot. I love the DMV influence to the menu from The Mambo - calamari mixed in mambo sauce and many crab and soul food dishes. We came during Happy Hour and they have a great deal! To drink we tried The Federal Flower and Cherry Blossom Fizz and one mocktail — Secret Garden Refresher. We shared a few starters including The Mambo and Quiet Crabs (highly recommend!). We shared Flip A Bird (MY FAVE ON THE MENU), Crab Yew Tew, She Said, and Crispy Business. For dessert we ended with Sticky Toffee Cookie which blew us away. This is a phenomenal place and will have to check out their R&B nights soon! Service was above and beyond and it’s a very cute vibe!!

Visited Kache opening weekend before the Burna Boy concert and had a great experience overall. The space has a very intimate, thoughtfully designed vibe with both upstairs and downstairs seating. I dined with a party of three upstairs, with a clear view of the bar, and the attention to detail throughout the space really stood out. A quick note for my fellow 30 plus crowd… the backless stools weren’t exactly a fan favorite, so we comfortably shared the booth side instead. Our server, Zoe, was sweet, polished, and attentive. She walked us through the menu before we ordered cocktails. I chose the Chocolate City Dream, which allows you to select either vodka or tequila. My friend and I ended up at Kaché last night after a failed night out, and I’m so glad we did. We sat upstairs at the bar, which had a beautiful, moody atmosphere with a DJ spinning R&B — definitely a vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was so good. We shared the K Street Fries, and I ordered the Crab Yew Tew pasta (low-key wondering if the chef is from Baltimore 😄), along with the National Mall Fizz mocktail. Everything was amazing. Even though I live in Baltimore, this spot is absolutely worth going back for.

The service and ambience were equally incredible. The staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious with great prices. I will certainly be back. Hervè was outstanding and treated us with respect, courtesy, warmth…. and anticipated everyone’s needs! He kept us laughing and was helpful in recommending food and drink pairings! Exceptional experience and so glad we chose this restaurant for happy hour and dinner! Bartender was also great!
