Customer Reviews
We ordered two types of Pulao with lamb and chicken. They both had the same rice, of course, it’s pulao. But it was not pulao, it was actually jeera rice… The lamb item came with one piece of lamb with bone and two halves of potato while the chicken came with five pieces. We are appalled by the quantity and quality of the food and the taste. Would not recommend at all! Especially to pay $18-20 for just rice.
I wanted to share my honest feedback about this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was not good, and it does not represent Afghan cuisine well. The portion was extremely small—there were only three small pieces of chicken, which was very disappointing. I had recommended this place to my coworker, and I regret doing so because it reflected poorly on me. I have never seen a meal served like this before.
We tried the kebab and liked it. Taste feels authentic and service is good too.
Food was good and service was great! The store looks outdated on the outside, but in the inside it looks authentic. Can benefit from some remodeling to the outside look.
Absolutely amazing find. Kabuli Pulao is a cozy, family-run gem where the food truly tastes like home. Yasin, the father, is in the kitchen with his wife cooking everything from scratch, while their son Shahzaib welcomes you with a big smile and genuine warmth. The chapli kebab instantly took me back to roadside grills outside Peshawar—crispy, juicy, and full of bold flavor. The mantu was rich and comforting, topped with creamy yogurt and a perfectly seasoned sauce. And the lassi with mint and cucumber? So refreshing and authentic. You can feel the love and tradition in every bite. Can’t wait to go back.
