We were recommended Chef Carlos and his team to cater a dinner while we were in town celebrating my mother’s 65th birthday, and we were so glad we took the recommendation. We ordered the gyro bar and it was absolutely perfect—flavor, variety, and portion size were all a 10/10. Chef Carlos delivered and set up a beautiful spread, making the entire experience effortless. We’ve already reached out to book him again for next year, and this time we’ll have him cater both nights we’re in town. Thank you, Chef Carlos!
Originally I wanted to have ramen next to Kaboburritos but I’m not sure why they closed on Sunday. We gave this a try since I didn’t really feel like to have pizza. At first seems confusing when I read their menu. This seems mixed between Mediterranean and Mexican. What an interesting combo never seen like this before. My husband had Mexican tacos and I had bowls. Both food was ok. It’s not bad but it wasn’t the best either.
So I checked this place out because I was hungry I love Mexican and Mediterranean food. Let me tell you this food was incredible they had fresh ingredients what delicious and the portions perfect the price was appropriate but above all the food was amazing it tastes like my grand moms food . Authentic as it gets. So from one food lover to another do yourself a favor and eat here I guarantee its a win
Jose (the chef) is an awesome dude, and he went above and beyond to give my wife and I the specific food we were looking for. My wife is vegetarian while I'm a meat eater, so we wanted specific items in each bowl. Jose even offered us an extra hummus cup on the side when we felt the original portion of hummus was too small. The food is unpretentious - the chicken in the Mexican bowl was very well seasoned, and the Mediterranean platter looked and tasted lovely. Overall, Kaboburritos is a great place to hangout with fantastic live music and a solid, delicious meal.
The only thing I liked were the empanadas. The Burrito bowls were mostly white plain rice the chicken was a few larger pieces rather than shredded... I can say the ingredients were fresh, so they have that going for them. I ended up not even eating the burrito bowl and filled up on my chips instead.I probably wont be back.
