K & L COUNTRY BBQ

We drove about 300 miles to try this BBQ that I’ve been following on social for a while. Being from TX, I’m picky about my BBQ, this was as good as any I’ve ever had! Great food, friendly service, no complaints at all. Highly recommended!

Great Texas style barbecue. First time trying it tonight and wasn’t let down with the flavor. Brisket was perfectly cooked, good sausage, and the sides were just as good with the meal. BBQ sauces were homemade and on point. I’ll be back anytime I’m in town for a good hearty meal.

Best BBQ I have had in Oklahoma, and possibly anywhere! And I don’t say that lightly. Kevin is a food genius and has perfected the art of BBQ. I was blessed to partake of the melt-in-your-mouth sliced brisket, the juicy pulled pork, and of course the fall-off-the-bone beef ribs (traditional BBQ & cinnamon pear). Sides were tasty too: crisp coleslaw, savory beans, smoked corn-on-the-cob, and oh, those Texas Twinkies! Prices are very reasonable and portions are large, so bring your appetite. To top it all off, Kevin and his wife are amazing human beings. Their faces radiate with light and the love of God, family, and BBQ. Can’t recommend enough. Worth the trip, even from Utah.

Pork butt, brisket and those chicken leg quarters were incredible. We drove from out of town to experience what all the Chester was about this little family run business. It was WELL worth it. Do not hesitate to try these folks.
