We are baffled at the reviews of the "rude ladies" - they were fine? They don't put on fake smiles when you walk in but were friendly when serving us. My Filipino kid loved the food, we loaded up on Hopia and lumpias (so good!) And ube pan. And pan de sal. Glad to have found a good place for Filipino food in Escondido!

Came here on a Saturday morning. Restaurant is located in a strip mall so there's a lot of parking. Although they open early, I would suggest to get here after 10:30am so there's more selections. Food: 2 Item Combo Pork Sinigang Chicharon Pancit Tocino and longanisa with rice BBQ stick The chicharon was the highlight for me. The pork sinigang tasted good but the meat was hmmm tough and maybe previously frozen hard, cooked, then chilled again. But, again the soup was delicious. The tocino was also delicious however the longanisa to me is a hot dog. I had ask again what that meat was and they said longanisa. Had to also ask what dialect or where in the Philippines is the style of cooking is from and one of the workers said Ilocano. So, I'm Ilocano and the Ilocano longenisa I know is with

Great Filipino food place in Escondido and it's actually the only one in the city. They serve some of the best authentic Filipino dishes you can find. The only thing I want to complain about is their turon. It is so thin, there is more wrapper than banana. The banana is about an eighth of the size of a whole banana!

tasty selection and generous portions reasonably priced under $10 for a combo! try the sisig! a regular non-Pinoy came in just for the sisig and kept raving about it..

The sign says open til 6pm on Sundays, yet the place is locked with nobody inside even though it's only 2:25pm. False advertising is not cool.
