K D's Donuts

Katie's donuts is the best donut shop in Santa Ana! The jalapeño croissants are better than any other place I've been to! The owners are so sweet and I have never had a bad experience with anyone that's worked there. They are always nice to my kids. And we have been going to Location since 2018. They always have coffee and chocolate milk, which makes my morning much easier. I hope they stay open in Santa Ana for a very, very, very long time!

Place is under new ownership. The sandwiches as so good. Best breakfast food and best donuts in Santa Ana. They're so soft 😭 apple fritter was amazing and got to try the best breakfast sandwich in Santa Ana to date. Croissants flaky, cheese melty. Too good

Pretty average for a donut store. I personally aim to seek out unique and one of a kind donut stores where the donuts are truly of their own creation. I am overly bored of all the same donuts u can buy at every donut store and it seems like they are pretty much made the same way too with ingredients nearly alike as well. Maybe some prefer the staple donuts made the same way where they can access them easily from anywhere they travel but I prefer the ones who set them selves apart and find yummyier ways of making their donuts and make the ingredients and baking process all their own. This place did impress me with the donut holes. They were evenly glazed which I don't usually find and were not too doughy tasting or thick. My mouth wasn't dry like I just took a bite out of plain bread. It

8/21/25 - 7:21 PM - The morning crew is amazing but the afternoon guy has no customer service. My wife is a regular & called in for 2 jalapeño cheese bagels. I arrived 15 mins later and 1. They were not ready 2. Added small amount of cream cheese (I asked for more and he charged for more no problem) 3. I hear their Vietnamese coffee is good so I asked for pricing LARGE $6.75 seems fair. 1 large please no ice, gives me cups half way filled up and says if you want full cup it’ll be $3 more. Why would you lose your regular customers and upcharge coffee to = $10, you ain’t Starbucks. Very disappointed.

So good they are soft and the lady is so nice she the best person ever
