K & D Deli

Today for my lunch break I tried a sandwich from here. I do not remember the name, but it came with grilled chicken, roasted peppers, provolone cheese, pesto mayo, and mixed greens. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had since moving from NYC. I also tried the home made blueberry bread which was great. I definitely plan to go back to try the salads and other sandwiches. As far as the price, given the sandwich I feel like it was priced accordingly.

A friendly place always a good, I order two scrambled eggs on gluten-free toast to go. It is always hot and ready when I get there. Hot coffee, good prices cute little place to sit down and eat if I had time lots of grab and go options.

The two men that work here (a 30s looking man and an early 50s looking man, both white) always have such horrible attitudes. The younger one makes snarky remarks, the older one rolls his eyes; it’s obvious that neither one of them wants to be there, but everyone has to work, and a little common courtesy is appreciated. They’ll also ignore a line of customers waiting to check out, just to be emptying coffee pots. The food is good but the employees make it such a terrible atmosphere. It’s not just one time, it’s every time.

Horrible. Shows open online. Deli is closed. I was not only one to show up to go in. I watched 5 other people sadly walk away from door. Get your shit together or change your hours on google.

I paid $32.28 for a turkey sandwich on a roll and a turkey sub. 2 bags of chips and a drink the was about 3.38. This is very sad. Especially since I barely got any meat. Plus the roll wasn’t fresh.
