Junkyard dogs

Super cute place, I had the junkyard dog, the corn bread was super soft and moist. Loved the beans; I would come here just for them! Perfect place to stop in with the kids; has outdoor seating for them to run around. I Will definitely make it a point to stop in whenever I’m back in town.

Terrible dogs. Like, really terrible. Think the cheapest pork/chicken/beef dogs you can get at Hannaford and Stop & Shop for 3 bucks an 8 pack. Then pair that with a dry, been-in-the-sun-too-long, cheap, non-grilled bun that crumbles in your hand halfway through the debacle of a hot dog that you’ve ventured into. As the memories of a true coney (white for starters) from New York with a decent mustard slip from their feeble perch to be supplanted with this horror, the echoes of “sorry no coneys today, no slaw, no kraut, etc” bang around in the new spatial cavities created by the void of what was a happy place in our reticence. A Seven Eleven red snapper that’s been spinning by itself all day in that moist, dripping, case that hasn’t been cleaned since the 70s - would be a hundred times bett

First time here. We sat outside under the tree at a picnic table. Absolutely beautiful. We had 3 dogs for $20.00 with toppings. There was so much toppings on my dog, beans, cole slaw and bacon I had to eat it with a fork. One dog with toppings, was a meal for me. The restaurant inside was adorable making me want to look around. Minimal wait time and pleasant staff. Glad I stopped.

These aren’t just your average dogs, these dogs are hot with a twist. I was blown away with the Junkyard dog - especially with the jalapeño corn bread😋 - hot honey, slaw, and beans - oh my! And while they’re taking care of you, they’ve also kept your four legged family in mind with a water bowl, treat bowl, and an outside sitting area with picnic tables. Such amazing people they are, I can’t wait to stop in again and support local.

You've got to try the Junkyard Dog! You will not find anything like it! Flavors were Iike fireworks in every bite! From the taste to the warm hospitality, I was not disappointed. And a bonus that our furry friends are invited as well!! Stop by and give it a try, and I promise you will be hooked!
