Junior Urias - Up In Smoke BBQ

Great BBQ!! We visited on a weekday at lunch time and were quickly greeted. We ordered the Slice Of Heaven so we were able to try all the meats. We also ordered the Mac & Cheese, Macaroni Salad and Peach Cobbler. Everything was fantastic!! Everything had perfect flavor and was perfectly cooked. The Macaroni & Cheese is probably the best I have ever had!! Junior & his family have outstanding customer service. If you haven’t stopped in I highly recommend it!

This was hands down a top 5 bbq place I’ve been to in Texas! The food was absolutely phenomenal and the value was amazing as well. To the fall apart brisket, the pepper jack sausage, and the Cowboy potato salad, it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Up in Smoke to anyone wanting amazing bbq at a great value.

Was in Brownwood on a work trip and was told to try Up in Smoke. Even though they were closing at 3, the owners allowed me to order and eat in the restaurant while they did closing tasks. They were welcoming and kind to me and my son. We ordered the turkey, pork belly, and ribs, as well as the pintos and mac and cheese. All of it was outstanding. Being the end of the day, they were sold out of brisket, but I can only imagine it matches the standard of everything else they serve.

By far the best BBQ in Brown County. Owner is there so that makes a HUGE difference in the way a business operates. You get what you pay for and its prices correctly for the level of quality you get. I won’t go anywhere else for BBQ. Before this place I was embarrassed to buy my out of town family bbq

The meat is pull apart tender. The sides are delicious and well made . And the hand crafted sauce is fire hot and wonderful. Locally owned and operated. Must see.
