We ordered scallop risotto, French onion soup and salad. The French onion soup was excellent and that's my favorite soup. The scallops risotto was good and I liked that there were scallops, mushrooms and sauce. We ate the chocolate- covered ice cream, which was a little bit oily. And espresso martini just looked good.
Made reservations to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Was greeted immediately and our table was ready for the four of us. Had a nice round of cocktails and enjoyed an amazing cup of French onion soup. Our entrees were all exceptionally well done, great flavor and a substantial portion size. I ordered the bolognese pasta, amazing, my family had scallops and skewers which they all loved. Great service and highly recommend.
I've came here many times and always get the harissa chicken kabob. The presentation is beautiful, with chicken over a bed of rice topped with a fennel slaw. We got a side order of potato wedges, which were crispy and salted just right. I usually get the profiterole for dessert, which never disappoints. The pistachio ice cream is creamy, paired with the dark chocolate is so good. Maybe one day I'll try the other desserts, but this one is hard to miss.
We stopped by Julii for the first time to celebrate a birthday — and it instantly made the day feel special. The staff were wonderfully friendly and patient while we navigated the menu (which, by the way, made it really hard to choose — everything sounded amazing). We finally went with the foie torchon, lamb tagine, and chicken kabob, and every dish delivered. Flavorful, beautifully plated, and served faster than expected, even at a busy time. Dessert and coffee were the perfect finale — just sweet enough without going overboard. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu — there’re def other options we want to try! Oh, and bonus points for the hilarious restroom sign — worth a peek (see pics 👀).
Im a huge fan of cava and cava mezza so I was excited to try Julii. The service and atmosphere were great. The food was extremely disappointing. Starting off with the appetizers. The caesar salad was not fresh, lettuce was old and dry. Paying 9 dollars for wedge frites that tasted comparable to KFC fries was another disappointment. The steak and eggs for nearly 50 dollars was such a waste of money. There was a juice bath because the steak didnt sit long enough. I was expecting so much more.
