Had a group of 9 having lunch. Ordering was easy, food came out in a very reasonable amount of time and accurately. The fried pork chops had a nice crispy coating and tasty gravy on top. Side of cabbage was very good and seasoned well. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend for a lunch spot.

All of the staff were very friendly. Our waitress Trinity was so sweet and helpful. The food was really good overall, but the shrimp could have used a little more seasoning. The slaw is good, slaw can be hit or miss, but not here! My husband had stopped here before while traveling and wanted to go back. This will most likely be a regular stop for us. This is a good exit to take a break.

We stopped by on our way home and had an excellent experience. The fried chicken was absolutely delicious—very juicy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. I ordered the Grammy’s pot roast over rice, and it was incredibly tasty. My husband enjoyed the food so much that he ordered another dish to take with us for the road. If you’re looking for authentic Southern comfort food, this is definitely the right place.

Yum! 1400 plus reviews in a small rural city speaks for itself! Service was polite. Food was delicious and generous. Nothing fancy though! If you want fancy, go to town hall or victor’s, but dine here for real good food!
