Customer Reviews
Jule’s easily ranks in my top 3 restaurants I’ve tried around Atlanta. Do yourself a favor and order the Japanese bun and the Rockefeller oysters — non-negotiable. The bun is unbelievably soft, and the butter served with it is insanely flavorful. Now here’s the move: put the char-grilled oyster on top of the bun with that butter and take a bite. It’s honestly better than oysters I’ve had in New York, and far better than anything I’ve tried in New Orleans. We loved it so much that we ordered the same items three times. The service was exceptional — genuinely warm, attentive, and polished. At one point, it honestly felt like dining at a Michelin three-star restaurant. The only downside is that they’re open Thursday through Sunday only. I stayed from Monday to Thursday and only managed to
We dined at Jules tonight and had an amazing meal. We were greeted by Mika as soon as we arrived. She was so happy, warm and professional…we felt so welcomed right from the start and it set the mood for a great evening. Reeves was an excellent server. He was attentive but not intrusive. He made excellent suggestions that guided our choices. We started with the chargrilled oysters and Japanese mild bread. Both were excellent. Often, cooked oysters are overdone at a restaurant. These were plump, juicy and just right. We shared the duck as our entree. It was suggested by our golf cart ambassador as well as Reeves. Again, it was perfectly prepared and presented. We both enjoyed delicious cocktails from the craft cocktail bar. As we waited for the golf cart to pick us up, once again, Mika was t
Everything was just ok. We got there 15 mins early, they asked us to wait even though there were maybe 4 tables occupied at the time. Odd but no biggie. Bar service and drink was great. Table service was ok. She tried, just inexperienced. They have odd rules. You have to order all your courses at once. Fine but our entrees came out after a table sat after us was done eating theirs- they comped my drink as an apology. Kind gesture for sure. We ordered charbroiled oysters, quail, crab cakes, schnitzel, cream spinach, and beef tallow fries. Food was ok and typical but definitely not worth the prices. Fries were dry and felt stale, sent it back. Atmosphere is very dim and very loud. Overall, Buckhead prices for small town restaurant.
Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!!! We ate dinner at Jules two nights in a row and had excellent service and amazing food and drinks both nights. Our servers, Jim and Drew were both very attentive and made great menu recommendations. The music paper bread (more like a salad) was divine, as were the oysters! We also had the trout, duck, and New York strip, and all were delicious. My husband says it was the best strip he has ever eaten. Our boys loved the Japanese milk bread. Chris, the bartender, was delightful to visit with as well, and made the best old fashioned! We can’t wait for our next visit to Barnsley and look forward to enjoying another meal at Jules!
My husband and I came to Jules to explore the new restaurant and see what Barnsley had to offer. As recent transplants from Atlanta to Calhoun, we miss our restaurant scene from the city. We were ecstatic to walk into this beautiful bar and dining room. The entire space is gorgeous aesthetically. What really did it in, was the service. Our experience at Jules was beyond refreshing and that’s all thanks to Reeves and Michael. The food was great but the people made it so much better. We will be back again very soon for date night and look forward to dining with them again.
