Jubilee - Ice Cream & Hot Donuts - Georgetown

This is a cute and quaint little ice cream shop , conveniently located on M street in Georgetown. When we went, they moved the line efficiently and fast. There’s outdoor seating, which is perfect for a nice day. We had the pistachio and the peanut butter cookie flavors - both were ok. Next time I’m there, I will try the donuts and the chocolate chocolate ice cream. The team member working was super nice and working fast to get everyone through the line efficiently.

We visited on Saturday afternoon. I’ll start off with the positives: this place, reminds me of a mini Krispy Kreme, where you can watch fresh miniature donuts being made. They also sell ice cream, floats, and milkshakes with a variety of flavors. Donuts are sold in sets of 6 (1 flavor), 12 (2 flavors), and 24 (4 flavors). We ordered 12 donuts which were soft and decent. Here is where the experience went downhill for us. I asked Jay, the employee helping us, if I can get 8 donuts with the hot cinnamon flavor and 4 donuts with sprinkles. He replied, “Yes, only if we leave him a review,” with a straight face. His request came off more abrasive and demanding as opposed to friendly. When we looked confused, he repeated his request which made the interaction uncomfortable. We decided to get 6 o

Immediately upon walking in, we were excitedly greeted by the most amazing person!!! She happily answered every question, offered samples, and even correctly guessed which flavors we would land on. She made the experience! We chose cookies and cookie dough, coffee toffee, mint brownie, and even tried the donuts made by their friends. Every bite was delicious!! And truly, our experience was made spectacular by the employee!!! We will return again in the future.

On my way back to the airport, I had to stop by Jubilee’s Ice Cream & Hot Donuts for their famous donuts, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the energy and vibe were amazing. Ulani, who was working, was incredibly patient, kind, and professional. She took my order with care and kept up light, friendly conversation while I waited for my fresh donuts. Even though I wasn’t there long, she made the experience feel welcoming and enjoyable, which really speaks to the culture of the place. Great service, great energy, and delicious treats.
