After a long, exhausting day on the road driving my truck, walking in for a warm meal here felt like a true gift. From the moment I arrived, I was met with nothing but kindness and genuine care. Every single person I interacted with made me feel welcomed and appreciated, especially Caleb, my wonderful waitress Maddie, and the owner, Angie. Being away from home and family for so long can be incredibly hard, and this place has a rare way of making you feel like you belong. It wasn’t just a meal — it was comfort, warmth, and a reminder of how meaningful simple human kindness can be. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was beyond anything I expected. If you’re anywhere near Eastview, TN and craving a top-notch meal, JR Steakhouse is where you need to be. We stopped in on a busy Saturday night and were blown away by the level of service — friendly, fast, and right on point. The staff handled the weekend crowd like pros, making sure everything from drinks to steaks came out perfectly. The atmosphere had that cozy, small-town charm but with food that rivals any big-city steakhouse. The steaks? Cooked exactly to order, juicy and packed with flavor. Sides were generous, and the rolls… let’s just say you’ll be asking for more. It’s not easy to impress on a Saturday night rush, but JR Steakhouse nailed it. We’ll definitely be back — this place is a hidden gem!

We went as a group. What have the group ordered? Was not what they got. The orders were all messed up. The owner was rude. We have been there often. They have been very friendly, but we got reprimanded for asking the wrong person for a napkin. I always thought when you were at a restaurant you ask the person that’s close to you and if they’re not the person that brings it then they relay it to the person that brings it. I didn’t know there was a difference between the person that brings it and the person that brings food that wasn’t my job so we told the owner very nice that we didn’t know the difference between a waitress and a server who does that? My husband and I visited JR’S tonight! This place was absolutely amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would! The food was outstanding! Our server was phenomenal! The best server we have ever had! The owner was stupendous! She spoke to us like she has know us forever! We will most definitely be back!

The service was top notch. The place is clean. The ribeye sandwhich was fine. The mac and cheese was disappointing.
